Is it permissible to marry a second wife with the agreement to defer some financial responsibilities towards her until the husband is able to provide for both of them, knowing that the first wife refuses sexual intercourse and considers oral sex to be impure?
It is not permissible for the husband to force his wife to do something repulsive or that leads to the entry of impurities into the internal cavity. He must engage in intercourse with her in the natural way. As for the wife, it is not permissible for her to refuse her husband's bed if he calls her for a legitimate purpose, such as fulfilling his right to enjoyment, except for a valid religious excuse such as menstruation or post-natal bleeding. Otherwise, she exposes herself to the curse of the angels and the wrath of Allah, and her maintenance and share of conjugal rights become forfeited due to her disobedience (nushooz). In the case of nushooz, the husband may admonish her, then abandon her in bed and in speech, then strike her with a non-injurious strike. If the nushooz continues, the husband may divorce her or reconcile with her on the condition that she waives some of her rights, such as maintenance and her share of conjugal rights.
