After building a house, what are the detailed Sharia rulings that apply?

There are no Sharia rulings connected to building a house. What some people do, slaughtering for the jinn, is a type of polytheism (shirk) and is not permissible. There is no harm in slaughtering and preparing food and inviting relatives, friends, and neighbors, or giving it as charity to the poor and needy upon completion of building a house; this is out of gratitude to Allah for completing the construction. This falls under showing gratitude for blessings and feeding the poor, which is encouraged in Sharia.
