What is the ruling on a veiled wife remaining in her job as a teacher after an arbitrary decision was issued to transfer her to an administrative position in another ministry?

If the husband is wealthy and capable of supporting his wife, it is better for the wife to stay at home and dedicate herself to her family’s affairs. This is because the decision for a woman to remain in her home is something encouraged and urged by Islamic law, based on the Almighty’s saying: “And abide in your houses,” and the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: “The woman is ‘awrah (private, to be veiled), and when she goes out, Satan lures her. And she is never closer to Allah than when she is in the depths of her home.” However, if the wife wishes to work and the husband agrees, and there are no Shariah violations in the work, such as unlawful mixing, then there is no harm in that.
