How can a repentant wife satisfy her husband and make him forget her painful past, especially if he sometimes recalls her mistakes, knowing his nobility and refined way of dealing with her?

If a person disobeys and then repents, Allah will accept their repentance; for Allah is "the Forgiver of sin and the Acceptor of repentance," and "He accepts repentance from His servants." As long as you have abandoned the sin, regretted it, and resolved not to return to it, Allah's forgiveness for you is hopeful. You owe nothing to your husband as long as he has forgiven you, and you should remind him of verses about forgiveness and overlooking, such as "And let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you?"
