What is the ruling on a woman who experiences recurrent leakage of urine or discharge, and how does she purify her clothes? Is she required to perform ablution (wudu') with each leakage, and what should she do if discharge occurs during prayer? Is she obliged to wait for it to stop, and is it permissible for her to pray with only ablution, without purifying her clothes, if she is outside the home due to necessity?

If a woman suffers from a continuous discharge of vaginal fluids such that she does not find enough time to pray with proper purification, or if the time the discharge stops is irregular, then she should perform ablution for each prayer after its time has begun. With that ablution, she may pray as many obligatory and supererogatory prayers as she wishes until the time for that prayer ends, and whatever issues from her does not harm her. She is not required to guard herself (with a cloth) or perform istinja’ (cleansing) from these fluids because they are pure.

As for a woman suffering from urinary incontinence, she is required to do what was mentioned above, in addition to guarding herself by placing a cloth over the area to prevent the spread of impurity, and purifying her body or clothes if urine gets on them. She is not required to re-bandage herself for each prayer if she has already bandaged herself. The Malikis have a concession for those with continuous discharge, which may be adopted out of necessity.
