If a man divorces his pregnant wife, the divorce is effective by the consensus of jurists. Ibn Abd al-Barr held that divorcing a pregnant woman is a divorce. Likewise, divorcing a non-pregnant woman during a period of purity in which he has not touched her is considered a Sunnah divorce and is effective.
