Is a person considered an infidel (kafir) if they experience obsessive doubts and whispers regarding religion, such as a lack of trust due to unanswered prayers and the ineffectiveness of reliance on God (tawakkul) and ruqyah, even though they fight against these thoughts and fear disbelief?

Whispers (Waswas) and inner monologues (Hadith al-Nafs) do not lead to disbelief (kufr), but a person should not dwell on them or act upon them or speak according to them. This is because Allah has forgiven a person for what their soul whispers to them, as long as they do not act upon it or speak about it.

It is obligatory to have a good opinion of Allah and not despair of the answer to one's supplication (Du'a), because Allah answers the Muslim's supplication as long as they do not supplicate for a sin or for the severance of kinship ties, and they do not hasten (the answer).

One must realize that the answer to supplication is not limited to achieving what is desired. Allah may store for the servant in the Hereafter something better than what they desired, or avert evil and affliction from them.

Strive to acquire the qualities of believers, especially reliance on Allah (Tawakkul), trust, and certainty in Allah. Reliance on Allah is one of the greatest acts of worship, and it stems from trust in Allah, which in turn stems from knowing Allah through His names, attributes, and actions. This leads to loving Him, glorifying Him, and trusting Him.
