The impermissible aspect of questioning jinn lies in aggrandizing them and believing everything they report. However, questioning them to ascertain their condition is permissible. The issue of seeking assistance from jinn for permissible matters is absolutely forbidden. As for reciting legal or some Qur’an without speaking to or questioning them, there is no objection to that.
