Is it permissible to gift a Japanese souvenir used as a charm for good luck, knowing that the giver did not know about this until after purchasing it with the intention of gifting it?

There is no sin in purchasing an amulet out of ignorance of its true nature, as Allah Almighty says: "And there is no blame upon you for that in which you have erred, but [there is blame for] what your hearts intended." However, gifting it is not permissible if it is used as an amulet, to avoid spreading this evil, for the world has become a single village, and a severe warning has come regarding the revival of the traditions of Jaahiliyyah (the pre-Islamic era of ignorance).
