Is it permissible to accept a gift from a Jinn?

The world of the jinn is of the unseen; it is known only through the sacred texts. They are bound by the rulings of the Sharia. The jinn may bring gifts to humans in two ways:

1. An unlawful way: The jinn demands prohibited actions from the human (such as disbelief or polytheism) in exchange for bringing stolen or forbidden items. This is the "mutual enjoyment" mentioned in the Quran, and Islam has forbidden it due to its polytheistic and dangerous nature.

2. A lawful way: The jinn brings permissible items that no one owns, such as wood or fruits from the wilderness, or minerals from the mountains. There is no harm in this.

Nevertheless, dealing with the jinn often leads to forbidden matters that may amount to polytheism, and Allah has enriched us with lawful means of earning.
