The basic principle concerning a disbelieving Jinn is that it is a liar, so its claim of embracing Islam or departing cannot be verified merely by its assertion.

Treatment for Jinn possession must only be through legitimate Islamic methods, such as recitation (Qira'ah) and blowing (Nafth) with Qur'anic verses and supplications (Du'as). The claim of transferring a Jinn to an "intermediary" has no basis in Islamic law (Shari'ah), is not accepted by sound intellect, and yields no expected benefit except illusion, potentially leading to polytheism.

Claiming that a Jinn has embraced Islam or asking it about the unseen (Ghaib) is polytheism (Shirk); because only Allah knows the unseen, and Jinn do not know the unseen. This action falls under the mutual enjoyment of Jinn by humans and humans by Jinn, and the idea of an "intermediary" is derived from the delusions of modern "spiritualist" atheists.
