Is Friday Prayer obligatory for pilgrims in Mina on the Day of Tarwiyah if the eighth of Dhul-Hijjah falls on a Friday?

Friday prayer is not obligatory for the pilgrim in Mina, for Mina is not a metropolis, but rather a village or one of the dwellings of the pilgrims.

The madhhab of Shafi'i and Malik is that there is no Friday prayer in Mina or Arafah.

If a village were built in Mina and forty complete residents settled there, they would establish Friday prayer, and the pilgrims would pray it with them.

As for the Hanafis, they have a detailed view: Mina is considered a metropolis during the season according to Abu Hanifa and Abu Yusuf, and Friday prayer is valid there, provided that it is established by the Caliph or the Amir of Hijaz.
