Can magic be nullified or undone through supplication and fervent prayer to Allah Almighty? And is supplication and fervent prayer sufficient to release one who is bound from marriage, after the shaykhs differed regarding her condition, between the evil eye and magic?

Magic can be nullified by supplication (du'a) alongside taking permissible means of treatment such as ruqyah (Islamic exorcism). As for the treatment of not getting married, it involves the woman seeking a righteous husband through people of virtue, for there is no shame in a father offering his daughter to righteous men. She must also maintain her obligatory duties to Allah, increase in supererogatory acts of worship (nawafil), seek forgiveness (istighfar), cling to Allah, and resort to Him, especially during times of supplication acceptance and in the last third of the night. Allah Almighty says: "Is not He (better than your gods) Who responds to the distressed one when he calls on Him, and Who removes evil, and makes you inheritors of the earth, generations after generations. Is there any ilah (god) with Allah?" (An-Naml: 62). She must also be patient, seek reward from Allah, and frequently say: "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return." For in the Hadith: "No Muslim is afflicted with a calamity and says what Allah has commanded him: 'Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return. O Allah, reward me for my calamity and compensate me with something better than it,' except that Allah will reward him for his calamity and compensate him with something better than it."
