How can God's forgiveness of all sins through repentance, including murder, be reconciled with the fact that Hajj does not absolve one of the rights of others, and that the intentional murderer's destiny is Hell? And what becomes of the rights of those murdered if the killer repents and enters Paradise?

Scholars have differed regarding which sins Hajj expiates. It is hoped that Allah will expiate, by means of an accepted Hajj, all sins, minor and major. However, Hajj only expiates sins related to the rights of Allah Almighty; it does not nullify the rights of people, nor does it nullify what is obligatory upon a person concerning Allah's rights, such as making up prayers, Zakat, fasting, or expiations. This is by scholarly consensus. As for the right of the murdered, Hajj does not nullify it. However, if the killer repents with sincere repentance, then Allah Almighty will show favor to him and appease the murdered person from His Own bounty.
