What is the Sharia ruling on a wife who raises her voice at her husband and responds to mistreatment with like, and does not accept that the final word belongs to the husband, nor does she make excuses for the husband's family, and does not want him to communicate with them or interfere in their problems?

It is advised that both spouses fulfill their duties towards each other, treat each other kindly, and show patience and overlook mistakes. The husband is advised to treat his wife well, not raise his voice at her, show gentleness, combine piety towards his family with good companionship towards his wife, and strive to reconcile between them with wisdom. The wife is advised to obey her husband in what is right, not raise her voice at him, be a good companion to him, and be kind to his family and help him honor them. As for disputes, it is advised to avoid escalating them. The husband has the authority in the home, and he is responsible for making the final decision after consultation. The wife is not permitted to prevent her husband from caring for his family.
