The answer

Our advice to you, dear brother, is to return to your country if you can earn a sufficient livelihood there. As for your parents, you must honor them and obey them in what is good, and treat them with kindness, for they are two gates for you to Paradise. However, if they command you to disobey [God], do not obey them. As for marriage, if it fulfills all its conditions and pillars, then it is a valid marriage. But if it is merely papers without an offer or acceptance, or if it takes place without a guardian or witnesses, then it is a void marriage.
