Planting trees at the grave is not permissible. Seeing the deceased in a good state or in Paradise is often a good vision. The deceased benefits from every righteous deed whose reward is dedicated to him, including charity, prayer on his behalf, fasting on his behalf, and reciting the Qur'an and gifting its reward to him.
