What is the ruling on collecting donations during the second part of the Friday sermon, whether at the preacher's invitation or during the time of supplication? And does that invalidate the Friday prayer of those who donate or those who collect the donations?

One who attends Friday prayer must pay attention to the sermon and not be distracted from it, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever performs ablution well, then comes to Jumu'ah and listens attentively and keeps silent, will have his sins forgiven between that Jumu'ah and the next, plus three extra days. And whoever touches pebbles has engaged in idle talk." Collecting donations during the sermon causes disturbance, movement, talk, and stepping over people's necks, all of which are forbidden. Whoever does so has forfeited the reward of Jumu'ah, and it will be counted for him as a Dhuhr prayer, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "And whoever engages in idle talk and steps over people's necks, it will be counted for him as Dhuhr." It is not permissible to give charity to a beggar during the sermon, and there is no difference in the prohibition of speaking and fiddling whether it is at the beginning of the sermon or during the supplication, for the supplication is connected to the sermon and is part of it.
