Are the hadiths and narrations that speak of the Quraysh's admiration and awe of the Qur'an authentic, or are they weak?

Narrations indicating that the leaders of Quraysh sensed the greatness of the Holy Qur’an and admired it include the story of Abu Sufyan, Abu Jahl, and Al-Akhnas ibn Shariq listening to the recitation of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. There is also the saying of Utbah ibn Rabi’ah to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, after he recited the Qur’an to him: "By Allah, I have heard from this man words I have never heard anything like before." Similarly, Al-Walid ibn al-Mughirah said: "By Allah, what he says has a sweetness, and it possesses a freshness. Its top is fruitful, its bottom abundant. It rises high and none can rise above it. It crushes all beneath it." Although the chains of transmission for some of these reports are weak, they are well-known among biographers and are used for corroboration. The admiration of the eloquent Arabs for the Qur’an is well-established, evident in the conversion of those among them who embraced Islam, and in the bewilderment of those who died in their disbelief regarding its description, and their recommendation not to listen to it and to engage in idle talk concerning it.
