How sound is the Hadith: "The Qur'an consists of one million and twenty-seven thousand letters, and whoever recites it with patience, seeking Allah's reward, will have a wife from the Houris for every letter"? What is the opinion of Imam Al-Bukhari, Imam Muslim, and other Imams regarding the narrator Hafs ibn Maysarah, in terms of Jarh and Ta'deel (disparagement and accreditation)?

The Hadith: "The Qur'an is a thousand thousand letters, and twenty-seven thousand letters. So whoever recites it with patience and seeking reward, for him, for every letter, there will be a wife from the Houris (maidens of Paradise) with wide, beautiful eyes." This Hadith was narrated by Al-Tabarani in Al-Awsat. Al-Dhahabi and Ibn Hajar declared it weak, and Al-Albani described it as false. The flaw in its chain of transmission is the独ness of Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd ibn Adam in narrating it, and he is accused of transmitting false reports, whereas Hafs ibn Maysarah is trustworthy, and his narrations were used as evidence by the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim).
