How many hadiths did Al-Bukhari narrate in his Sahih from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace?

The majority of scholars agree that Sahih al-Bukhari is the most authentic book after the Book of Allah (the Quran). Imam al-Bukhari compiled it over sixteen years, ensuring the authenticity of every hadith he included. Al-Bukhari mentioned that he extracted it from approximately six hundred thousand hadiths.

As for the number of its hadiths, Ibn al-Salah and al-Nawawi stated it to be 7,275 hadiths, while Ibn Hajar, upon tracing them, found them to be 7,397 hadiths, including repetitions, but excluding mu'allaqat (suspended narrations) and mutaba'at (corroborating narrations). The pure number of hadiths, without repetition, is 2,602. If the مرفوع ( مرفوع ) suspended texts (159 hadiths) are added, the total becomes 2,761 hadiths. The number of its hadiths, including repetitions, ta'liqat (suspensions), mutaba'at (corroborations), and variations in narrations, is 9,082 hadiths. This number does not include narrations stopped at the Companions and the Successors.
