Why do Hanafis not accept the Hadith regarding raising the hands before and after bowing in prayer, despite it being an authentic and consecutively transmitted Hadith in Bukhari, Muslim, and Sunan Abi Dawud? And did it not reach Imam Abu Hanifa?

The worshiper raises their hands to the level of their shoulders at the opening takbir ( takbirat al-ihram), when bowing ( ruku'), when rising from bowing, and when standing up from the first tashahhud. This is the view of the majority of scholars. Imam al-Bukhari wrote a separate book on this topic, affirming the raising of hands and refuting those who differed. The imams of hadith have weakened the hadith and narrations used by those who opposed raising the hands. Therefore, a believer should not abandon raising the hands in these positions and should be keen for their prayer to be like the prayer of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Pray as you have seen me praying." It is not permissible to abandon acting upon a Sunnah after its clarity, merely in imitation of someone.
