Is it considered a sin to wish for the implementation of Sharia rulings to deter those who dare to violate the tenets of Islam, so that one does not rejoice in their non-application?

The joy mentioned is not joy at the non-application of Sharia, but rather joy at the salvation of someone who is thought to have committed an act that nullifies Islam, while the questioner wishes for the application of Sharia to deter those who dare to make mistakes. These feelings are good and not sinful. The questioner is suffering from waswasah (whispers/obsessive thoughts) in this regard, and she is advised to discard these thoughts so as not to be carried away by waswasah, which might lead to confusion and pathological doubt. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Ruined are those who go to extremes."
