How can one get rid of the overwhelming sexual desire resulting from masturbation, and is it permissible to read or imagine things that lead to ejaculation without practicing masturbation, or to look at drawn sexual images to achieve that?

Allah the Almighty has clarified that the way to satisfy one's desires is through marriage, and for those who cannot marry, then they must fast. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not guide us to masturbation or fantasizing due to the resulting health and psychological harms.

Looking at pictures of women in cartoons or reading sexually explicit stories is among the prohibited acts because it arouses dormant instincts and incites lust, leading to forbidden acts.

The remedy for this is marriage or fasting, along with lowering the gaze from forbidden things, avoiding listening to songs, and keeping away from everything that incites lust.
