Masturbation is forbidden (haram). To overcome it, you must sincerely repent, occupy yourself with beneficial knowledge, productive work, permissible sports, and constantly be mindful of Allah's watchfulness. Also, make supplications with the reported (ma'thur) prayers. It is also advised to reduce foods that stimulate desire, to fast, and to marry if possible. You must avoid being alone with non-mahram women, lower your gaze from forbidden things, and refrain from watching forbidden films that promote indecency.
