What is the ruling on gloating over the death of a disbeliever, a disobedient Muslim, or a wicked person?

If what is meant by gloating over death is that all people will meet this fate, then this is a sound meaning. While it is permissible to rejoice at the death of a wicked person, a believer must take heed, reflect, and prepare for death. They should ask Allah for a good ending and not let joy or gloating distract them from their own fate and from working for their salvation in the Hereafter.
