Is it permissible to gloat over the killing of the oppressive, iniquitous Muslim faction at the hands of another Muslim faction?

Schadenfreude is the joy at a calamity befalling an enemy. There is no blame in it if it afflicts an oppressive, corrupt enemy, especially if it cuts off his evil and harm from the people. Jurists have explicitly stated the permissibility of rejoicing at the calamities that befall him due to the cessation of his evil. It has been narrated from the Salaf that they used to rejoice at the destruction of oppressors.
