Is the purity of clothes a condition for touching the Mushaf?

It is not a condition for the permissibility of touching the Mus-haf that one's clothes be ritually pure. However, it is not permissible to touch it with ritually impure clothes. It is permissible for someone whose clothes are not pure to touch it, provided that the clothes themselves do not touch the Mus-haf.
