What is the Shariah ruling on women working in education in Algeria, and what are the available alternatives?

A woman's work in mixed-gender environments falls into two categories:

First: If the woman is compelled to work due to a genuine need that is Islamically recognized, and she cannot find a non-mixed alternative, and she does not possess a skill that would suffice her at home. In this case, she is permitted to work, provided she adheres to Islamic regulations such as wearing a complete and concealing hijab, avoiding perfumes, and not speaking in a soft and alluring manner. If the need ceases or she finds a non-mixed job, she must leave the mixed environment.

Second: If she is not compelled to work in mixed-gender environments, either because she has no original need, or because there is a non-mixed work opportunity available. In this case, it is not permissible for her to work in mixed-gender environments due to the resulting harms and risks, such as the difficulty of lowering one's gaze and the lack of safety from temptation from some men. The safest option for a woman is to work in her own specialized field, away from mixing with men.
