Do foods, water, clothes, and other materials that come into contact with "stearic acid," derived from fats and used in the plastics and rubber industries, become impure, especially given that most of these products are imported from non-Islamic countries?

Stearic acid is a colorless organic fatty acid found in animal and vegetable fats. It is commercially prepared by treating animal fats with water or vegetable oils with hydrogen. It is used in rubber softening, wax manufacturing, cosmetics, and soap. If extracted from impure animal fats, its treatment with water, heat, and high pressure leads to the transformation of the impurity into a pure substance. This is the view of the majority of scholars. The default ruling in cases of doubt is purity, and permitting the use of products containing it removes hardship from people.
