Comparing religions and dialoguing with people of falsehood can be a tribulation for a Muslim if he does not possess firm religious knowledge. Therefore, it is advisable to stay away from such activities for those who do not have the ability to refute misconceptions; otherwise, it becomes obligatory to shun and abandon the people of innovation. It is permissible to examine the books of the people of innovation for those who are well-versed in the Quran and Sunnah, possess steadfastness and strength in faith, and have sharp intellect to extract evidence and refute them. As for the previously corrupted heavenly books, it is not permissible to read them except for those deeply rooted in knowledge, in order to expose their corruptions. Among the books that assist in this field are: "Al-Jawab Al-Sahih li Man Baddala Din Al-Masih" by Ibn Taymiyyah, "Hidayat Al-Hayara" by Ibn Al-Qayyim, "Izhar Al-Haqq" by Rahmatullah Al-Hindi, and others.
