Does great difficulty in seeking people's forgiveness verbally for sins waive the requirement to ask for forgiveness?

The rights of people and injustices against them necessitate fulfilling these rights or seeking forgiveness for them; otherwise, there will be retribution on the Day of Judgment through good deeds and sins.

The repentance of the oppressor is contingent on the oppressed forgiving them or having their right restored.

Injustice is divided into:

1. Injustice concerning wealth: Repentance is achieved by returning the wealth to its owner, even without their knowledge.

2. Injustice concerning the body (like beating): This is achieved by enabling the oppressed to exact retribution or by apologizing to them and seeking their forgiveness, and there should be no shyness in doing so.

3. Injustice concerning one's honor (like backbiting and slander): If the backbiting reached the oppressed person: One must seek their forgiveness. If the backbiting did not reach the oppressed person: It is preferable not to inform them. The oppressor must repent, seek forgiveness, pray for their well-being, and mention them positively. They should not inform them if they fear that doing so would lead to harm or discord.
