What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding the blood money (diyyah) for injuries to a woman, and does it differ from a man's blood money for wounds when it exceeds one-third of a man's blood money?

If the Sharia court issues a ruling, it is binding and resolves disputes in matters of ijtihad, so it is not permissible to question it. Jurists have differed regarding the diyyah (blood money) of a woman for injuries less than loss of life: the Hanafis and Shafi’is hold that her diyyah is half that of a man, absolutely. The Malikis and Hanbalis, however, believe that it is equal to that of a man up to one-third of the man’s diyyah; if it exceeds that, it becomes half.
