What should I do about the jinn returning after being expelled, and appearing in the form of cats, and my feeling intense fear of my husband, and my unconscious attempts to commit suicide, and my inability to listen to the Quran in my husband's house, knowing that I do not suffer from any organic or psychological illnesses?
We ask Allah to grant you a swift recovery, and we advise you of the following:
1. Maintain the morning and evening adhkar (remembrances of Allah).
2. Have trust in Allah Almighty.
3. Seek ruqyah (Islamic exorcism/healing) from a righteous raqi (one who performs ruqyah).
4. Rid your home of anything that attracts devils.
5. Be patient, for patience is the key to relief, and you will be rewarded for the affliction that befalls you. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, the greatest reward comes with the greatest trial. And indeed, when Allah loves a people, He afflicts them. Whoever is pleased with it will have pleasure, and whoever is displeased with it will have displeasure."
