Is the reward for good deeds and merits multiplied in Ramadan compared to other days?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

Good deeds are multiplied in Ramadan, a virtuous time, just as they are multiplied in virtuous places like mosques. There is no disagreement regarding this concerning good deeds. As for bad deeds, some have said that their multiplication is in quality, not quantity. It is recommended to increase in reading the Quran, remembrance (dhikr), and charity in Ramadan for the multiplication of good deeds. It has been reported from Ibrahim that one tasbih (glorification of God) in Ramadan is better than a thousand tasbihs at other times.
