Are the Hadiths reported concerning the Ghazwah of Hind authentic, and do they refer to a war in the Indian subcontinent near the end of time?

The Hadith (definition) of Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) concerning the Ghazwa of India is authentic, while the Hadith of Abu Hurayrah is weak. India was invaded, conquered, and its idols destroyed repeatedly, beginning in the era of Al-Walid ibn Abd al-Malik under the leadership of Al-Qasim ibn Muhammad al-Thaqafi, and during the Abbasid period under the leadership of Mahmud ibn Sabuktakin. This invasion is considered one of the signs of prophethood about which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) informed us. There is no indication of another invasion of India at the end of time, so it appears that the Hadith refers to what has already occurred.
