What is the authenticity of the Hadith regarding the غزوة (expedition/conquest) of India, and is it true that whoever participates in it enters Paradise, and what are its sources, chain of narrators, and explanation?

The hadiths mentioning the invasion of India include some with authentic chains of narration (sahih) and others that are weak (da'if). Among the authentic ones is the hadith narrated by Thawban, may Allah be pleased with him, which was transmitted by Al-Nasa'i and Ahmad, and authenticated by Al-Albani. In this hadith, it is mentioned that there are two groups from the Ummah who are safeguarded from the Fire: one that will invade India, and another that will be with Jesus the son of Mary. As for the hadiths narrated by Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, concerning this matter, their chains of narration contain weakness. It is understood from these hadiths that the aforementioned invasion of India will occur in the End Times, near the descent of Jesus the son of Mary, peace be upon them, and not during the era when Muslims undertook conquests in India during the time of Mu'awiyah.
