It is impermissible for a woman to travel for a day and a night's journey without a mahram. There is a consensus on this, except for Hajj, Umrah, and departing from Dar al-Kufr (the land of disbelief). Scholars have differed regarding a woman performing Hajj and Umrah for the obligatory Hajj. The majority of jurists do not permit it except with the presence of a mahram, while the Shafi'is permitted it if her journey is with a safe company. Therefore, it is impermissible for you to travel for your menstruation cycle except with the presence of a mahram.
