Does the Hadith "I am free from any Muslim who resides among the polytheists" include Muslims living in non-Islamic countries—like America—despite their adherence to the rituals of their religion, and their performance of prayer, fasting, and Friday prayer?

Immigrating to disbelieving lands is forbidden for those unable to practice their religious rituals there; otherwise, it is disliked (makrooh). The nature of the company's work must be considered: if its work and programs do not serve anything forbidden by Sharia, then working for it is permissible. However, if it serves something forbidden, then working for it is prohibited. Traveling to disbelieving lands for the purpose of inviting people to Allah is permissible. If you can connect with those working for Islam and cooperate with them in righteousness and piety, and find good companionship that helps you remain steadfast, then strive for that. But if you know that you will not be able to preserve your religion, then hasten to emigrate to Islamic lands.
