What is the ruling on one who expiated his oath by feeding ten poor people at his wedding reception?

If you invite ten indigent people and feed them at your wedding feast with the intention that it be an expiation for an oath, then that is permissible and will be counted. However, if this was not your intention, it will not be counted as an expiation for an oath.
