How do non-Muslims succeed and prosper in their endeavors despite not relying on God as Muslims do, who take the necessary means and then rely on God?

Reliance on Allah Almighty is the foundation of success and prosperity in faith and the hereafter, and it is a condition for both, as indicated by the noble verses. As for worldly matters, reliance [on Allah] is a great means to acquire them, but Allah provides for all His creation, their believers and their disbelievers, and distinguishes the believers in the hereafter.
