Why does God not grant victory to Muslims, even though they are monotheists who believe in Him, and He—the Most High—said: "If Allah helps you, none can overcome you"? And why is their blood shed, is the Prophet insulted, and are they subjected to hardship?

Allah Almighty is Wise; He grants His victory to those who support His cause. Succession on Earth and empowerment therein are contingent upon realizing Tawhid (monotheism) and sincerity to Allah Almighty, perfecting faith, and performing righteous deeds. If Muslims support the religion of their Lord, He will uphold their rights. But if they shirk from implementing Allah's commands, their enemy will be given power over them.

The calamities, defeats, and the empowerment of their enemies that befall Muslims are due to their sins and their shortcomings in the duties of servitude.

Therefore, every Muslim must strive diligently to achieve victory by supporting Allah's cause. This is done by obeying Allah's commands, glorifying His rituals, adhering to the teachings of Islam, supplicating for their oppressed brethren, and aiding them in every possible way, without despairing of relief.
