What is the ruling on money mixed with ill-gotten gains that is difficult to separate, due to its owner's ignorance of the Sharia ruling on forbidden shaving?

If someone committed a forbidden act out of ignorance of its ruling, there is no sin upon them in using the earnings they received, provided they repent. They are permitted what has passed, in accordance with the verse: "So whoever receives an admonition from his Lord and desists, he may have what has already passed." However, it is more scrupulous to dispose of it in charitable ways, following the example of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq. As for actions committed after becoming aware of the prohibition, they must dispose of what they acquired from it and spend it on good causes and for the benefit of Muslims. If the amount is unknown, they should give what they believe is sufficient to clear their conscience.
