What is the ruling on supplicating against one's children in a moment of anger without intending to harm them, and does a sin result from that?

A person should control their emotions and not indulge in anger by supplicating with evil. It is a mercy from Allah that He does not answer prayers for evil during moments of anger and distress, lest people be destroyed, as confirmed by His statement, the Most High: "And if Allah were to hasten for the people the evil [they invoke] as He hastens for them the good, their term would have been concluded for them." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade supplicating against oneself, one's children, and one's wealth, fearing that it might coincide with a moment of acceptance (a time when prayers are answered), and the supplication would then be granted. A parent's supplication against their child in a moment of anger is not appropriate, and it is feared that the parent might incur sin for violating the Prophet's prohibition and transgressing in supplication. It is hoped from Allah that He will not answer such a supplication.
