Is it forbidden to call the Adhan with maqamat, by analogy to the prohibition of reciting the Qur’an with maqamat?

The majority of scholars dislike the melodic recitation (talḥīn) and embellishment (taṭrīb) of the Adhan. Some even consider it invalid, especially if performed according to musical maqams, as this is closer to prohibition. It may even become prohibited if the embellishment becomes excessive.
