What are the Islamic legal rulings regarding the Adhan, especially with the presence of muezzins who chant it in a manner resembling a mawwal? And is this chanting considered the correct Adhan?

The scholars from various madhhabs have explicitly stated the dislike (karahah) of excessive vocalization (tatreeb) and melodic chanting (talheen) in the Adhan, because it contradicts reverence (khushu') and solemnity (haybah), making it resemble singing. However, a melodically chanted Adhan is still valid as long as it does not alter the meaning. It has been narrated from Ibn al-Jawzi and al-Kasani that Ibn 'Umar disliked melodic chanting. In Mawahib al-Jalil, it is mentioned that excessive vocalization (tatreeb) and mournful chanting (tahzeen) in the Adhan are disliked, unless they become excessive, in which case they become prohibited (haram). Imam Abu Talib al-Makki considered it a form of transgression and aggression.
