Are the funds acquired from advertisements on YouTube videos—whether protected by copyright or not—halal or haram, and how can one dispose of haram money, and is it permissible to give it as charity to relatives?

There is no harm in displaying permissible clips if their owners grant permission. As for protected clips, it is not permissible to upload them without the owners' permission. Whoever does so is sinful and is liable for the value of what he has deprived them of. He must repent for what has passed. As for what is earned from permissible advertisements, there is no harm in benefiting from it.
