Is anal sex with one's wife a matter of disagreement that should not be condemned?

Sodomy is one of the major sins concerning which there is no permissible disagreement. Its prohibition has been established by the Quran, the Sunnah, and the consensus of the Imams, which is the view adopted by the majority of jurists. As for what has been narrated from some concerning its permissibility, many have challenged it. Whoever commits this act, both parties must be subjected to a deterrent punishment, and if they do not desist, they must be separated.
