Anal intercourse is forbidden and a major sin by the consensus of Muslim imams. What has been attributed to some of them, such as Al-Shafi'i and Malik, regarding its permissibility, is incorrect. If you did this believing it to be permissible according to some scholars, we hope you are excused. However, you must avoid this act in the future.
