Is it permissible to complete intercourse if the time for Friday prayer has begun, or must one go to the prayer, and what is the ruling on one who misses Friday prayer due to intercourse with his wife?

The jurists mentioned that among the excuses permitting the omission of Jumu'ah and congregational prayers are: one who is in the presence of food he needs, and they analogized to this one who yearns for sexual intercourse. Being occupied with sexual intercourse is an excuse under certain conditions: that one's soul yearns for it, such that he becomes preoccupied with thoughts of it and thus distracted from prayer; that he is able to engage in it, whether physically or legally; and that he does not make this a habit.
